The masked dancer in from Ladakh in the Indian Himalayas while the room with table displays and wall photographs was shot in the Thai-Burma border town of Mae Sot at the office of Myanmar’s AAPP (Assistance Association for Political Prisoners. This is the AAPP’s museum and the red model on the table is a mockup of the infamous Insein Prison near Yangon.

The insect is a lantern fly and was taken on the grounds of Chiang May University in Thailand and the comfortable pupper is a Boston Terrier who goes by the name of Buckley.
